Plan your journey to the named teaching building, rather than to UEA in general. The course uses UEA lecture spaces and the Clinical Anatomy Suite in the Edith Cavell Building. Check the day-by-day meeting point before setting out.
Final day-by-day arrival times and meeting points will be confirmed by the course team. The location guide below is for planning; it is not a first-day reporting instruction.
The Clinical Anatomy Suite is in the Edith Cavell Building on Norwich Research Park, near the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. It is not the same destination as the main UEA campus entrance.
For your taxi or map search, use “UEA Edith Cavell Building, Colney Lane, Norwich”, then check the course-day entrance instructions. Do not use the hospital reception as the course meeting point.
Find ECB on a MapThe programme may name the Thomas Paine Study Centre (TPSC) or another UEA teaching space. Do not assume that a lecture session and a laboratory session share an entrance.
On the linked UEA map, TPSC is building 52; ECB is building 209 in the Norwich Research Park West inset. The map is dated August 2022: use it to understand the layout, not as permission to park.
Open the UEA Campus MapPlan the onward journey from Norwich station to the named teaching building. Check live services for your actual arrival time; an early registration may be before a convenient bus connection.
Give a taxi driver the full building name and day-specific address. Allow time for traffic, finding the correct entrance and checking in.
Check Rail TravelPlan Local Public TransportDo not assume that parking at the Edith Cavell Building, the hospital, or another UEA car park is included or available for course delegates. Check the course-specific parking instructions before travelling and follow the signs and restrictions in place on the day.
Please contact the course team before travelling if you need step-free access, an accessible drop-off, mobility assistance or another adjustment. Tell us which course day you are attending so we can confirm the correct entrance and route.
Accommodation is not included in the course fee. Before booking, compare the journey to each teaching building, check the cancellation terms and arrange your morning transport. A Norwich address does not necessarily mean a short journey to UEA or the Edith Cavell Building.
UEA’s own visitor accommodation is an option to investigate first for a campus-based stay. It is on the main campus: still check the route to ECB and to each day’s meeting point.
